As a big fan of those kinds of posts I decided to start my own rubric of the same kind.

In the last Sunday of every month I will be sharing with you the best articles I have found on networks, such as Twitter and StumbleUpon, as well as from my RSS subscriptions or any other kinds of sources. The articles I will be including in the monthly rubric will range in topic from social media and blogging through writing and traffic generation.

Throughout 2011 blogging had almost turned into a drug to me. Addicted is probably not a word, strong enough to describe how I felt about writing articles and expanding my social media presence. Everything seemed pretty good, months past and things were going well. Until November that is. That’s when things took a turn for the worse. I had to stop. The break was supposed to be no more than a week or two long. In the end however it ended up lasting almost three months.

Design is a topic around which controversy tends to bloom. When it comes to designing a blog, it’s not any different. On the one hand there are the supporters of the ‘Good design matters’ theory and on the other are those who are not really keen on eye candy.

Although both sides have their strong points, what I believe is that supplying your content with some good looking graphics is always a bonus. That is why I decided to make some alterations to my blog’s design to make everything a bit more appealing and improve readability.
